The programme was chaired by T. Lalramnunpuia. The resource person for this awareness programme are Mrs. C. Lalduhzuali, Election Officer, Lunglei District and Mr. H. Lalramenga, SDC. They talked about the duties as citizens of India, importance of taking active and responsible part in election, registration for electoral roll and SVEEP.

Ms. Malsawmhriatzuali, SDC conducted pledge taking for all the attendants. Mr. John Lalramhluna Hnamte, SDC also accompanied the resource persons.

The programme was concluded with vote of thanks from Mr. Joseph Lalhunmawia, Nodal Officer, HATIM Electoral Literacy Club.
